Schedule
- Remote: Work from home (US based)
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Business hours: Monday–Sunday, 24/7 coverage
- Shifts: Must be flexible to work any 8-hour shift within operating hours
- Training: 3–6 weeks paid training with required 100% attendance
- Geographic hiring limits: Not hiring in AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, ME, MD, MA, MS, NJ, NY, OR, RI, TX, VT, WA (and possibly others)
What You’ll Do
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced environment
- Listen actively, clarify needs, and provide accurate information with confidence
- Access cardholder accounts to support payment and benefit deposit questions (state/federal agencies)
- Assist with transactions, account status questions, and research requests using web-based tools
- Communicate with warmth and empathy while maintaining confidentiality and compliance
- Build knowledge of programs, policies, and systems to improve accuracy and call quality
- Support the team during peak volumes and coverage gaps to keep service running smoothly
What You Need
- Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of customer service, call center, or dispatch experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (able to explain complex info clearly)
- Comfort working across multiple screens and applications in a structured call center setting
- Ability to stay calm during challenging calls while maintaining professionalism and empathy
- Pass background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting
- Camera compliance for meetings and training
- Home setup requirements:
- Dedicated workspace (desk, chair, electrical outlet)
- Direct LAN connection
- Secure, reliable high-speed internet
- Internet speed test requirement: minimum 50 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download
- Basic working knowledge of Windows and computer applications
Benefits
- Pay: $14.00 per hour starting day one
- Shift differential: +$1.50 per hour for hours worked between 6 PM and 6 AM
- Weekend differential: +$1.00 per hour for Saturday/Sunday hours between 6 AM and 6 PM
- Monthly incentive opportunity: up to $350 after training (based on performance metrics)
