This role is for a strong writer who can win business, not just write pretty sentences. You’ll own RFP responses and sales documents that help Navitus acquire and retain clients, pulling inputs from busy stakeholders and turning them into clear, persuasive proposals under tight deadlines.

What You’ll Do
- Draft and manage responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other sales-related documents for varied client audiences
- Coordinate proposal projects end-to-end: planning, scheduling, organizing inputs, follow-ups, reporting, and final delivery
- Apply expert-level editing and writing to ensure deliverables reflect strategy, sales capture decisions, and customer-focused messaging
- Build and maintain knowledge of Navitus markets, target audiences, and how products/services meet those needs
- Partner with cross-functional SMEs to gather content, clarify details, and deliver analytical tasks tied to proposal requirements
- Build and stick to strict timelines while maintaining high accuracy and quality under pressure
- Support content management by keeping proposal materials current, consistent, and competitive
- Contribute to efficiency improvements by identifying ways to streamline proposal processes and workflows
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred: English, Journalism, Communications) and/or equivalent proposal management experience
- 2+ years combined experience in key areas, including:
- Writing concise, strategic, persuasive proposals (writing samples and a writing test required)
- Developing and implementing complex business strategies with a consultative sales approach
- Delivering quality work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
- Strategic proposal content development and project management (or closely related experience)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to collaborate respectfully and consistently

Pay Range: $65,686 – $79,140/yr (plus 5% at-risk bonus eligibility).
