What You’ll Do
- Challenge and evaluate AI models on accounting and finance scenarios (practical + theoretical)
- Verify accuracy and logical soundness across topics like:
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Audit concepts and internal controls
- Tax compliance and interpretation
- Cost/management accounting
- Reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting
- Document model failure modes clearly, with reproducible examples
- Suggest prompt and evaluation improvements to harden model reasoning
What You Need
- Strong accounting fundamentals and comfort applying them to messy, real-world cases
- Working knowledge of GAAP (and ideally IFRS) and how standards impact reporting decisions
- Ability to explain steps and assumptions clearly (“show your work”)
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Bonus signals:
- CPA (or progress toward it)
- Audit or tax prep experience
- ERP exposure (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong Excel and financial modeling habits
