The Provider Operations team is central to delivering a smooth deposition experience for law firm clients and court reporters alike.
Schedule
- Full-time, hourly (non-exempt), remote (United States)
- Sunday–Thursday coverage
- Must work Pacific Standard Time zone hours
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with court reporters across all markets
- Schedule court reporters for depositions using Steno’s internal tools, ensuring accurate details and timely follow-up
- Manage conversations related to reporter rates and invoices fairly and professionally
- Monitor the job pipeline to recruit and vet new court reporters to meet demand
- Partner with Marketing on campaigns and programs to grow Steno reporter groups and talent pools
- Track deadlines and follow up with reporters to ensure transcripts are delivered on time
- Train court reporters on Steno processes, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate with operational leaders to improve the court reporter experience and streamline workflows
- Design and support programs that maintain high service standards for clients
- Handle weekend and urgent scheduling needs, including next-day jobs, interpreter coverage, rapid response, and escalation when needed
What You Need
- Experience at a court reporting agency (strongly preferred)
- Comfort working independently while collaborating with a larger remote team
- Proficiency on Mac and PC; ability to learn new systems quickly (Google Drive experience is a plus)
- CRM experience or willingness to learn
- Strong customer service skills with a hospitality mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with comfort pulling reports and using tools to answer business questions
- Confidence building relationships while also handling tough conversations when needed
- Interest in growing with a tech startup environment
