Schedule
Remote (U.S.)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 12pm–9pm EST
Training: Mandatory paid virtual training Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm EST for approximately 4 weeks before transitioning to the shift above
Stable internet and a quiet workspace expected for remote work

What You’ll Do
Answer inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
Guide customers through Justworks products and services including payroll, benefits, compliance, HR, and software tools
Support benefits administration, eligibility, and enrollments including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, commuter benefits, disability, retirement, and COBRA
Help customers with payroll tasks including processing payroll, payments, reports, time and attendance, and general payroll policies
Manage open cases in a CRM and keep customers informed on status and resolution timelines
Troubleshoot issues, triage appropriately, and escalate complex cases to team leads or subject matter experts
Communicate product issues and bugs to engineering and provide process improvement recommendations
Maintain product knowledge and help customers with best practices and training as needed
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive timely resolution and customer satisfaction

What You Need
1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
Comfort defusing challenging situations and handling sensitive issues professionally
Ability to learn complex topics quickly and explain them clearly and simply
Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter mindset with ownership and accountability
Remote readiness: quiet workspace, stable internet, and comfort working independently
Preferred: remote experience, HR/benefits/payroll exposure, Zendesk/Talkdesk/JIRA/Confluence familiarity, Spanish or another second language

The base wage range for this remote position is targeted at $29.76 to $32.74 per hour. Actual compensation depends on experience, location, and skill set.
