Phone-based role supporting SMB customers
Compensation: $28.84–$31.25/hour + up to $1,750/month variable incentive
What You’ll Do
• Manage a portfolio of SMB accounts and set up payment plans when revenues fluctuate
• Negotiate with customers in default to bring accounts back into good standing
• Handle tough conversations professionally while using empathy and strong judgment
• Use outbound outreach (calls, texts, emails) to connect with unresponsive customers
• Track account status and next steps in Salesforce CRM
• Hit monthly recovery goals and meet or exceed incentive targets
• Deliver timely, accurate service that reflects Forward Financing’s core values
What You Need
• 2+ years of professional customer service experience
• 1+ year of collections experience
• Strong communication skills, active listening, and comfort navigating sensitive situations
• Ability to recover past-due balances while keeping the relationship intact
• Confidence using CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Bilingual Spanish preferred (verbal and written)
