What You’ll Do
⦁ Research assigned A/R balances and take timely collection actions to drive payment
⦁ Work payer and internal correspondence queues, resolving requests and issues efficiently
⦁ Make routine collection calls on outstanding claims and document outcomes clearly
⦁ Identify and correct billing errors, short payments, unpaid claims, and cash application issues
⦁ Flag risk accounts, potential write-offs, and status concerns, and escalate to management as needed
⦁ Research payer refund requests and status refunds based on findings
⦁ Maintain detailed, accurate notes in the company system to support follow-up and audit readiness
⦁ Communicate effectively with branches, management, patients, and insurance carriers
⦁ Answer phones and handle patient balance questions with professionalism and empathy
⦁ Use payer portals and electronic tools to confirm claim status and ensure claims are on file after submission
⦁ Identify and support payer projects and escalations with management and company liaisons
⦁ Write detailed appeals with supporting documentation and track follow-up and appeal deadlines
⦁ Submit secondary claims when needed
⦁ Ensure compliance with regulations, contracts, and company policies

What You Need
⦁ Previous home infusion and specialty pharmacy experience (required)
⦁ 1–3+ years of strong collections experience
⦁ High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in finance/accounting preferred
⦁ Knowledge of HCPCS coding and medical terminology
⦁ Strong math and writing skills, including appeal writing
⦁ Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
⦁ Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and multitask in a high-volume environment
⦁ Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
⦁ Bonus: CPR+ system experience
