Schedule
- Full-time, remote
- Typical business hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm (overtime as needed)
- Salary range: $70,000–$88,000 per year
- Significant specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience required
What You’ll Do
⦁ Review payer contracts for key intake and reimbursement terms such as timely filing requirements and clean claim payment standards
⦁ Analyze fee provisions and schedules for common billable services, including per diems, nursing, and drugs
⦁ Partner with the Managed Markets team to address missing or unfavorable contract terms
⦁ Deliver clear analyses of unfavorable contract terms to the VP of Reimbursement and CFO (or designees)
⦁ Educate intake and reimbursement teams on payer policies, reimbursement trends, and contract nuances
⦁ Create, maintain, and manage intake and reimbursement contract resource documents and references
⦁ Build strong working relationships with both contracted and non-contracted Provider Relations contacts
⦁ Work with Provider Relations teams to address trending issues like denials and contract non-compliance
⦁ Identify cost savings and improved cash collections through payer reimbursement analysis and trend tracking
⦁ Contribute to internal and external conversations related to payers, contracts, and industry best practices
⦁ Manage direct reports including hiring, training, performance coaching, reviews, conflict resolution, and team goal setting
⦁ Handle additional duties as assigned
What You Need
⦁ Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of reimbursement or account management experience supporting injectable/infused drugs or reimbursed medical device products
⦁ High school diploma (or equivalent) required
⦁ Significant specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience (required)
⦁ Strong experience handling Medicare, Medicaid, or managed care reimbursement issues at provider and payer levels
⦁ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong organization and problem-solving ability
⦁ Strong analytical, administrative, business, and team-building skills
