What You’ll Do
⦁ Serve as a clinical resource for members seeking guidance on screenings, preventive measures, and overall health decisions
⦁ Provide clinical support through live member calls, emails, and chats, escalating and documenting as needed
⦁ Review client plan documents and create benefit coverage summaries for internal teams to support member questions
⦁ Prepare coverage notices outlining protocols for specific specialties (physical therapy, chiropractic, oncology, bariatric, etc.)
⦁ Act as a clinical point of contact for providers with coverage questions and treatment option discussions (including second opinions and alternatives)
⦁ Follow up on pending items and keep members updated with timely, responsive communication
⦁ Maintain accurate documentation for client reviews, analytics, and legal requirements
⦁ Support healthcare awareness initiatives by helping create infographics and educational materials for key awareness months
⦁ Bring proactive ideas to improve member experience and strengthen outreach
⦁ Support special projects and other duties as assigned
What You Need
⦁ Experience as a Care Coordinator, Case Manager, or similar role in a healthcare setting
⦁ Strong clinical knowledge of preventive care, screenings, and treatment options
⦁ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a patient-centered approach
⦁ Comfort supporting members and providers through phone, email, and chat
⦁ Strong organization and attention to detail, especially with documentation
⦁ Ability to work independently in a remote environment
⦁ Familiarity with healthcare documentation standards and legal requirements
⦁ Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or related field
- Experience with healthcare plan documentation and benefit coverage summaries
- Experience creating educational and awareness content
- HIPAA certification or training
- USRN certificate
- Active NCLEX license
⦁ Reliable tech setup: - Primary internet 15 Mbps minimum, plus backup internet 10 Mbps minimum (power-outage capable)
- Primary laptop/desktop meeting minimum specs (modern i5/i3 or Ryzen 5 equivalent, 8GB RAM)
- Backup device meeting i3-level performance and usable during power interruptions
- Webcam, noise-canceling USB headset, smartphone, and a quiet dedicated home office
