What You’ll Do
⦁ Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to help members/patients with benefits, scheduling, and service coordination
⦁ Provide accurate information on plan benefits, eligibility, and coverage
⦁ Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments with healthcare providers
⦁ Process referrals, authorizations, prescription renewals, and other requests
⦁ Support claims questions, billing inquiries, and account updates
⦁ Verify eligibility and update member records
⦁ Document interactions accurately in EMR/CRM systems
⦁ Communicate with providers and internal teams by phone, secure messaging, or email
⦁ Protect confidentiality and follow HIPAA/privacy guidelines
⦁ Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or supervisor
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or equivalent
⦁ 1+ year call center customer service experience handling high call volume
⦁ 1+ year healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, patient services, provider services, benefits support, or similar)
⦁ Job stability: at least one year tenure per role (they’re explicitly screening for this)
⦁ Strong grasp of privacy regulations and handling sensitive data in a remote environment
⦁ Strong verbal and written communication
⦁ Ability to navigate multiple systems while staying accurate
⦁ Private, designated workspace plus reliable high-speed internet
