Neura Health is building a virtual neurology practice to reduce long waits for specialty care. They support patients managing chronic neurological conditions and deliver care through a tech-enabled, patient-first model.
Schedule
Remote
8 hours/day, 5 days/week (various schedules available)
Must be able to manage inbound patient messaging platform coverage
Sunday availability is asked in the application (may be required for some schedules)
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate patient care via messaging and phone to keep the experience smooth and supportive
- Prep patients for visits by making sure charts are updated and all needed info is ready
- Handle admin needs like scheduling and membership adjustments
- Navigate insurance for labs, prescriptions, and scans, including prior authorizations and eligibility/copay support
- Explain complex care and coverage info clearly and empathetically to improve adherence
- Resolve billing issues and support payment collection
- Support reporting, special projects, and ad hoc operational needs
- Track common patient feedback themes and help build scalable solutions
- Improve SOPs and clinical workflows with an “owner” mindset
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve products, tools, and patient outcomes
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
What You Need
- 2+ years in healthcare, medical assistance, or clinical care
- Hands-on insurance experience (prior auths, eligibility checks, copays)
- Strong communication with a patient-centered tone
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and autonomous
- Soft skills: listening, negotiating, decision-making, leadership
- Bonus: experience working closely with clinicians, EMRs, and testing portals
