• Works closely with Clinical Operations and cross functional partners to resolve billing cases quickly
What You’ll Do
• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing clear, professional communication
• Resolve billing inquiries, insurance questions, and complaints using Zendesk
• Collaborate with clinical teams to verify insurance coverage and benefits before telehealth appointments
• Help patients understand financial obligations, payment options, and next steps
• Participate in audits to identify billing discrepancies and trends impacting patients and internal teams
• Support cross functional process improvements to enhance patient experience and billing workflows
• Assist with intake procedures, forms, payment collection, appointment support, and EHR updates as needed
• Protect patient privacy and handle PHI in compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines
What You Need
• 2–5 years delivering a best in class patient or customer experience
• 1–2 years of billing experience (preferred)
• 2+ years of Zendesk experience
• 2+ years of Athena experience
• 2+ years of Google Workspace experience (required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with empathy and professionalism
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple cases without losing accuracy
