What You’ll Do
- Educate clients on the financial hardship debt program, benefits, and options
- Deescalate upset clients using empathy, active listening, and confident communication
- Assess each client’s financial situation and recommend realistic next steps
- Create customized solutions that help clients stay in the program and see value
- Use the CRM to quickly understand client status and document every interaction accurately
- Negotiate, troubleshoot, and problem solve to retain at-risk clients
- Meet or exceed retention targets and earn commissions based on outcomes
- Provide best-in-class service across phone and other communication tools
- Work collaboratively with the team and support an inclusive, solution-first culture
What You Need
- Bilingual Spanish (required)
- Experience in retention, sales, or collections (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s is a plus)
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and high call volume
- Calm under pressure, resilient, and strong at deescalation
- Comfortable negotiating and guiding tough conversations to resolution
- Tech savvy with CRM proficiency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and active listening
- Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- Adaptable, coachable, and willing to learn new financial solutions
- 18+ and authorized to work in the US (implied by standard application flow)
