Schedule
• Remote (U.S.) | W2 employee role (not contractor)
• Seasonal part-time with potential to move full-time based on business needs
• Must be available at least 20 hours/week within: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Mandatory: 8 hours worked every Monday (no exceptions)
• If a holiday falls on Monday, the mandatory 8 hours moves to Tuesday
• Paid onboarding: orientation, pre-arrival learning, training, and nesting
• Training is virtual (instructor-led + self-paced) with 100% attendance required

What You’ll Do
• Process, navigate, and research unemployment insurance claims
• Answer incoming calls through computer-based software and help with complex cases
• Research databases to resolve customer issues accurately
• Stay calm in escalated situations and high-stress moments
• Multitask across multiple programs while maintaining accuracy and empathy
• Handle back-to-back calls in a fast-paced contact center environment

What You Need
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and currently living in the U.S.
• Strong customer service mindset: empathy, composure, active listening
• Clear verbal communication (grammar, tone, pronunciation)
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
• Typing speed: 30 WPM minimum
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Able to pass a criminal background check (paid for by Direct Interactions)
• Ohio residence preferred
• Must be a self-starter and comfortable working within a team environment

Training Schedule (All Paid)
• Orientation: Monday, January 5, 2026 – 12:00 PM EST (1 hour)
• Training Week 1: January 6–9, 2026 – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST
• Training Week 2: January 12–15, 2026 (times vary; some days 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST)
• Mandatory IT tech setup required before training (cannot be missed)

Work-From-Home Tech Requirements
• Windows 11 only (Windows 10 not supported)
• Desktop preferred or true laptop (no Mac/Apple, tablets, Chromebooks, mini PCs, notebooks, Android)
• Minimum 8GB RAM, 2.00GHz+ processor, not in S mode, 4+ CPU cores
• Internet: 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload minimum
• Hardwired ethernet only (no Wi-Fi, no satellite, no cellular, no hotspot)
• US-based ISP (no T-Mobile Home Internet, no 5G internet)
• USB wired headset with noise-canceling mic
• Operational webcam
• Smartphone less than 3 years old for MFA authentication
• Second monitor recommended (not required)
