Straight talk: this is not a “soft HR” role. It’s systems-heavy and you’ll be expected to troubleshoot, test, document, and keep HR data clean while juggling compliance and employee-facing requests. If you can’t speak fluent HRIS, this won’t feel fun. If you can, it’s a strong remote HR ops career builder.
