If you can calm down an angry sports fan, sniff out a bug report that’s actually user error, and still keep it friendly on social media, Sleeper wants you. This role supports Sleeper Picks (their simplified daily fantasy product) and blends classic customer success with light fraud review and cross-team ops support.
About Sleeper
Sleeper is a sports-focused games platform with messaging at its core, built to be a digital hangout for sports fans and their friends. They keep teams intentionally small so each person can make a real impact, and customer support is positioned as the heartbeat of the company.
Schedule
• Fully remote (United States)
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Must be available for varying shifts, including weeknights and weekends (5 days on, 2 days off)
• Must be available for holidays and “big game days” across sports
What You’ll Do
⦁ Support users across email, chat, and social media while demonstrating strong product and sports/DFS knowledge.
⦁ Handle complaints, requests, and inquiries quickly and professionally, using conflict resolution and clear communication.
⦁ Help onboard users and troubleshoot bug and usability issues by asking smart questions and isolating root causes.
⦁ Collect product feedback, prioritize feature requests, and funnel the voice of the customer to Sleeper’s product team.
⦁ Support Regulatory Ops, Compliance, and internal teams with ad hoc requests, including additional fraud reviews.
⦁ Assist cross-functional Operations and Fraud needs related to user interactions within the DFS product.
⦁ Review deposit and withdrawal transactions for potential fraud to help keep accounts correctly maintained.
What You Need
⦁ 1+ year of experience in a direct Customer Support or Customer Success role (required).
⦁ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
⦁ Strong problem-solving instincts: you can diagnose issues, spot patterns, and communicate findings clearly.
⦁ High empathy and customer-first personality, especially in tense or emotional user interactions.
⦁ Comfort working weekends, nights, holidays, and high-volume “big sports day” surges.
Benefits
⦁ Competitive salary (range not specified in the posting).
⦁ Health, dental, and vision insurance.
⦁ 401(k).
⦁ PTO plus flexible working hours and remote work options.
⦁ Opportunities for career advancement in a small, high-impact team environment.
Quick gut-check: the schedule is the real filter here. If nights, weekends, and holiday game days are a dealbreaker, don’t force it. But if you like sports culture and can thrive in surge moments, this could be a fun, high-signal role.
Happy Hunting,
