Schedule
- Fully remote (Illinois)
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Flexible start time: begin your 8-hour day between 6:00am and 9:30am and end by 6:00pm (some locations require a 7:00am start)

What You’ll Do
⦁ Follow up on patient accounts to resolve reimbursement issues with payers
⦁ Escalate payer trend concerns to leadership and communicate with internal/external departments as needed
⦁ Work with insurance companies to ensure proper reimbursement and resolve claim payment issues
⦁ Identify, prepare, and process adjustments and write-offs according to policy
⦁ Correct and resubmit claims when appropriate, including follow-up on denials and short-pays
⦁ Use payer phone lines and web portals to check claim status and submit correspondence
⦁ Interpret payer contracts to confirm correct payment and reimbursement terms
⦁ Send initial or secondary bills to insurance companies as required
⦁ Process refunds and work to overturn insurance claim rejections while meeting quality and productivity standards
⦁ Manage daily correspondence and maintain accurate documentation
What You Need
⦁ 1+ year of experience in a professional environment
⦁ Beginner-level experience using Excel, Outlook, and Word
⦁ Verified high school diploma or GED
