Schedule
• Remote (US)
• Job type: Full-time, part-time, temporary (role is described as part-time seasonal with potential for full-time based on business needs)
• Must be available at least 20 hours per week within client hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
• Mandatory: 8 hours worked every Monday, no exceptions (if a holiday falls on Monday, the mandatory 8 hours moves to Tuesday)
• Not available in: California, Washington, Washington DC, Illinois, Connecticut, or New York
What You’ll Do
⦁ Process, navigate, and research unemployment insurance claims
⦁ Answer inbound calls through computer software and help customers with complex, case-specific issues
⦁ Research databases and documentation to resolve customer problems accurately
⦁ Maintain composure in escalated situations and keep interactions professional
⦁ Multitask across multiple programs while working at call-volume pace
⦁ Work through challenging situations to reach an acceptable resolution
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or equivalent and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
⦁ Must be a current U.S. resident (Ohio residence preferred)
⦁ Type at least 30 WPM
⦁ Strong listening skills, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
⦁ Comfort taking multiple consecutive calls in a fast-paced environment
⦁ Strong communication (grammar, tone, pronunciation) and attention to detail
⦁ Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
⦁ Must pass a criminal background check (paid for by Direct Interactions)
⦁ Must meet strict technical requirements: Windows 11 PC (no Mac/Apple, Chromebooks, tablets, mini PCs, notebooks, Android), 8GB RAM minimum, 2.00GHz+ processor, 4+ CPU cores, hardwired ethernet (no Wi-Fi), 25 Mbps down/3 Mbps up, USB wired headset, webcam, and smartphone for MFA

Training starts soon and attendance is strict.
• Orientation: Monday, January 5, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST (1 hour)
• Training and nesting: 9 paid days total, 100% attendance required, plus a mandatory IT tech setup you cannot miss
