You’ll write primarily for healthcare professionals, acting as the bridge between Medical Science and Creative while owning copy through MLR review.

⦁ Partner with HCP Brand Marketing & Education and the Medical Science team to find stories inside data and formulations
⦁ Write for HCP channels and materials, including:
⦁ Campaign messaging frameworks
⦁ Sales and training materials (brochures, detail aids, decks, leave-behinds)
⦁ Ingredient and product science stories
⦁ HCP digital (website, email, social, event collateral)
⦁ Science decks and thought leadership for KOL and clinical audiences
⦁ Occasional consumer-facing science content (site, organic social, PR narratives/releases)
⦁ Ensure scientific accuracy, sourcing, and clean citations
⦁ Own copy through MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review, defending intent while staying compliant
⦁ Serve as SME for copy intent in MLR discussions, partnering with Medical and Regulatory teams
⦁ Collaborate with design, brand, and medical partners to align copy and visuals
⦁ Maintain tone of voice and message consistency across HCP communications
What You Need
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or science-related field (advanced degree or strong science literacy is a plus)
⦁ 6–10 years copywriting experience in healthcare, medical nutrition, or life sciences (HCP/medical creative agency background strongly preferred)
⦁ Proven experience writing in regulated categories with citation and referencing standards
⦁ Strong narrative-building skills rooted in evidence and data
⦁ Research-forward mindset: curious, meticulous, and comfortable decoding studies
⦁ Ability to shift between clinical language and human language without losing accuracy
⦁ High attention to detail and strong editing
⦁ Comfortable in cross-functional, fast-paced collaboration and feedback loops
Benefits
⦁ Company-matched 401(k)
⦁ Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance (employee + eligible dependents)
⦁ PTO starting at 15 days/year (increases with tenure)
⦁ Two weeks paid “Refresh” leave
⦁ 80 hours paid sick leave annually
⦁ 11 paid holidays
⦁ FSA, tuition reimbursement, EAP, paid disability leave, paid parental/pregnancy leave, and more
Straight talk: this isn’t “brand vibes” copywriting. This is receipts. If you don’t like citations, compliance, and people challenging your claims in MLR, you’ll be miserable. But if you love making science feel human while keeping it legally clean, this is a sweet spot role.
Happy Hunting,
