What You’ll Do
• Answer inbound calls about patient medical bills, insurance coverage, EOBs, and payment arrangements
• Troubleshoot billing questions, explain benefits coverage, and set clear next steps and timelines
• Document, track, and close issues accurately in internal systems
• Partner with internal teams to research denials, missing payments, and attorney requests
• Support special projects and additional duties as assigned
What You Need
• Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 1+ year of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (healthcare call center preferred)
• Strong knowledge or ability to learn EOBs, insurance plans, ICD-10/CPT basics
• Strong math skills (percentages, decimals, fractions) and comfort with spreadsheets/databases
• Clear communication, organization, time management, and the ability to explain complex documents simply
• Professional, tactful approach with diverse callers and personalities
