Schedule
• Full-time
• Remote (UK-based)
• Team leadership: 2 direct reports initially, with room to grow the team as the company scales

What You’ll Do
• Lead annual strategic reviews and translate goals into rolling OKRs and roadmaps
• Drive cross-department alignment so teams stay coordinated and moving in the same direction
• Support investor updates, scalability planning, and performance tracking
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
• Oversee reporting, audits, tax readiness, and fundraising readiness (including investor data rooms)
• Manage payroll, AP, invoicing, credit control, and expenses
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing development programs
• Maintain comp frameworks and benefits programs
• Embed company values and strengthen remote-first culture, performance reviews, and team cohesion
• Manage contracts, legal reviews, IP management, and compliance audits
• Ensure compliance frameworks like ISO, SOC2, GDPR, and CCPA are supported and maintained
• Build risk management and business continuity planning
• Standardize SOPs, document management, and vendor relationships
• Oversee the systems stack and integrations (Jira, Slack, GSuite, etc.) with scalability in mind
• Manage licenses, equipment records, and data governance standards

What You Need
• Strong operations, strategy, and project management experience
• Ability to balance long-term vision with tactical execution
• People and culture leadership experience (HR, team building, remote cohesion)
• Process design mindset with the ability to build scalable systems
• Financial confidence: budgeting, reporting, stewardship (tools like Xero, Stripe, Chargebee)
• Metrics-driven approach to tracking performance and improving outcomes
• Comfort leading change and working cross-functionally
• AI and tech savvy, using automation and tools to speed up operations and improve quality

Bonus Points
• SaaS scale-up ops experience in remote-first/distributed teams
• Knowledge of global labor laws and compliance frameworks
• HR or PM certifications (SHRM, CIPD, PMP, PRINCE2)
• Change management and digital transformation experience
