Schedule
- Permanent, full-time remote position

What You’ll Do
- Receive refund requests from clients and internal teams and handle them accurately and in a timely manner
- Post and record refunds to insurance companies and patients using internal systems
- Review and interpret Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) to confirm refund accuracy
- Make outbound calls to attorneys, no-fault carriers, workers’ compensation, and the Veterans Administration as needed to resolve refund questions
- Work from correspondence, faxes, and pending issues to clear items quickly and correctly
- Collaborate with internal departments and external parties to ensure all refunds are properly submitted, documented, and recorded
- Follow department policies, procedures, and timelines to maintain compliance and support clean audits
- Perform other duties as requested by the Refunds Department Manager
What You Need
- Previous experience in cash posting and/or refunds is required
- Strong math skills and confidence working with numbers all day
- Ability to read and understand Explanations of Benefits (EOBs)
- Comfortable working on deadlines and managing a steady workload
- Solid computer literacy, including the ability to work with dual monitors
- Proven ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional, pleasant phone manner and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with clients, external parties, and internal teams
- Punctual, dependable, and accountable for your work
- Quick learner who is comfortable asking questions to get it right
