- You will spend most of your day on the phones speaking with patients about their medical bills
- Specific schedule and shift details discussed during the interview process
What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional service to patients on behalf of healthcare clients
- Make outbound and take inbound calls to discuss and resolve medical bill balances
- Clearly explain account details, balances, and options in plain language
- Review patient accounts and record all interactions, notes, and outcomes accurately
- Negotiate reasonable payment plans and one time payments when possible
- Set up payments via check, electronic transfer, or credit card
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and compliance expectations
- Collaborate with team leads, management, and clients to resolve disputes and improve patient satisfaction
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- One to two years of college preferred
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Prior medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience strongly preferred
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with multiple systems
- Strong communication skills with a clear, professional phone presence
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and medical information with integrity
- Customer focused mindset with patience, empathy, and resilience
- Ability to work well on a remote team and follow direction from leads and managers
