Schedule
- Fully remote role within the United States
- Schedules assigned based on business needs between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time
- Full-time, long-term opportunity (not seasonal)
- On-camera participation expected for interviews, training, meetings, and regular check-ins
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls to help members or patients with benefits, eligibility, scheduling, and service coordination
- Provide clear, accurate information about plan benefits, coverage, and account details
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments with providers
- Process referrals, authorizations, prescription renewals, and other support requests
- Assist with claims questions, billing inquiries, and account updates
- Review plan eligibility and update records within internal systems
- Document all interactions accurately in EMR or CRM tools
- Communicate with providers and internal teams via phone, secure messaging, and email
- Protect confidential health information and follow HIPAA and privacy guidelines
- Escalate complex situations to the appropriate team or supervisor when needed
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of call center customer service experience
- 1+ year of healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, patient services, benefits support, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional, patient tone
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and screens while staying accurate on calls
- Reliable high-speed internet and a private, designated home workspace
- Stable work history with a track record of reliability and at least one year per prior role
- Commitment to a long-term role and building a career with the organization
- Comfortable being on camera for training and ongoing team interactions
- Preferred: experience with appointment scheduling, EMR/CRM systems, EPIC, Facets, and basic medical/insurance terminology
