Schedule
- Fully remote, full-time position
- Standard business hours with time-sensitive closing and funding deadlines
- High-volume environment (minimum 80 closings per month) working closely with title companies, sales, and operations
What You’ll Do
- Thoroughly review loan files to confirm all conditions are cleared and the file is truly ready to close
- Prepare closing documents, ensuring accurate fees, correct terms, and proper closing conditions
- Verify all key details for accuracy, including borrower legal names, property address, loan terms, price, rate, title work, and hazard insurance
- Review and deliver Closing Disclosures, confirming loans meet program guidelines, compliance standards, and company policies
- Set up funding wires to title companies for proper disbursement of funds
- Maintain and manage a closing pipeline while meeting warehouse wire cutoff times and contract closing dates
- Consistently close a minimum of 80 loans per month while maintaining quality and compliance
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of recent residential closing experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, and Agency products
- Proficient math skills and strong comfort working with numbers and fees
- Strong computer skills with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and loan origination systems (Encompass LOS strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of Closing Disclosures and their compliance implications
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work with urgency and stay calm under tight time constraints
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
