What You’ll Do
⦁ Review clinical trial databases and perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and integrity
⦁ Compare extracted data views prior to submission to identify errors, omissions, and discrepancies, and notify research teams using established processes
⦁ Document and resolve data clarifications in partnership with the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team
⦁ Track, document, and report data-related defects and problems, escalating issues to management when needed
⦁ Identify quality control checks that can be automated as new studies are computerized
⦁ Document paper and electronic submissions to monitoring agencies and study sponsors
⦁ Spot trends and sentinel events related to systems, personnel, or clinical issues to support process improvements and training
What You Need
⦁ BS/BA in a health or medical–related field with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 7+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree
⦁ Experience working with clinical databases and a strong understanding of clinical data
⦁ Ability to recognize acceptable clinical values and interpret clinical information accurately
⦁ Proficiency with clinical database systems
⦁ Strong problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
