What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary consultant and account lead for assigned healthcare clients and practices.
- Own end-to-end performance and compliance for value-based programs, including MIPS and other quality payment contracts.
- Analyze baseline quality data, identify performance gaps, and recommend strategies to improve scores and outcomes.
- Interpret CMS regulations, MIPS specifications, and program updates, and translate them into clear, actionable guidance.
- Lead regular virtual meetings with clients to review performance dashboards, answer questions, and align on next steps.
- Collaborate with internal teams (account managers, sales, IT, development, business analysts, and systems integration) to align reporting strategies and ensure smooth execution.
- Support clients in optimizing EMR workflows for Promoting Interoperability and quality measure capture.
- Conduct random chart audits within client EMRs to validate data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Help prepare, validate, and submit data via authorized submission protocols in coordination with IT.
- Review and interpret final adjudications and feedback from quality payment programs, summarizing key findings for stakeholders.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field (required).
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare quality reporting, value-based care, or a closely related area.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-facing mindset.
- Experience planning, leading, and facilitating group meetings or client calls.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter while managing multiple clients and deadlines.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, especially with regulatory or data-heavy work.
- Comfort handling confidential information and PHI with professionalism and discretion.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
