What You’ll Do
- Manage a dedicated caseload of subrogation files across Workers’ Compensation and Commercial Auto lines
- Conduct additional investigations to secure evidence, evaluate liability, and maximize subrogation recovery potential
- Develop and execute clear subrogation strategies and action plans for each assigned claim
- Calculate potential recovery amounts and negotiate with carriers, responsible parties, and attorneys to reach optimal settlements
- Issue subrogation notices and handle communications in line with state-specific regulations
- Maintain proactive communication with insureds, claimants, adverse parties, attorneys, and frontline adjusters to drive the recovery process
- Provide detailed updates and document action plans, status, and outcomes in claim notes and systems
- Assist with recovery of overpayments and negotiate lien or claim settlement amounts based on case facts
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support overall claims cost containment and recovery goals
What You Need
- 2+ years of experience handling Workers’ Compensation and/or Commercial Auto subrogation claims
- Strong working knowledge of insurance claim procedures and subrogation practices
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable recovery outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and clear tone
- Solid decision-making and critical-thinking skills in fast-paced environments
- Ability to learn quickly, handle a steady caseload, and stay organized under pressure
- Comfort using G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools for remote work
