- Fully remote within the United States
- Office style environment with extended computer and phone work
- Requires a reliable high speed internet connection via cable or fiber (minimum 100 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload)
What You’ll Do
- Process and submit accurate, timely invoices to clients across multiple systems
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies with professionalism
- Communicate with clients about billing questions, payment status, and account details
- Maintain accurate records of all billing and collection activities
- Assist with month end closing and reporting tasks
- Set up new accounts for new business and update accounts for existing clients
- Audit accounts to ensure setup and changes are allocated correctly
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track services and activity for multiple clients
- Maintain Access databases to support tracking and reporting needs
- Collaborate with other departments to support accurate, timely billing
- Perform related duties as assigned and support team projects as needed
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in billing and collections
- Strong communication and problem solving skills when working with clients and internal teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfort with accounting or billing software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
