Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm CT
- 100% remote within the United States
- Requires a reliable internet connection and a dedicated, private workspace
- Occasional overtime based on business needs
What You’ll Do
- Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to eligible patients to explain Pomelo Care services and invite them to enroll
- Clearly educate patients and families about available clinical and social resources through their health plan
- Achieve and exceed member enrollment goals aligned with company KPIs and performance metrics
- Answer questions, address concerns, and guide patients on how Pomelo Care can support their needs
- Document all outreach and patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner in the appropriate systems
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, community partners, and other stakeholders to help ensure patients receive appropriate services and follow-up care
- Work with families to schedule appointments and support follow-up needs
- Handle inbound calls from interested or referred patients and convert them into enrollments
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on healthcare trends, tools, and regulations
What You Need
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm CT in a quiet, private, internet-connected workspace
- Strong, empathetic verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly over the phone
- Comfort in a high-volume, metric-driven environment (calls, enrollments, conversion rates)
- Motivated by goals, KPIs, and a monthly bonus structure
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow-ups
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a remote team
- Willingness to occasionally work overtime as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States
Bonus points:
- Experience in outreach enrollments, prospecting, or call-center environments
- Familiarity with Medicaid populations and working with members assigned to Medicaid health plans
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment and comfort with ambiguity and change
