- Standard weekday business hours
- Occasional business travel for client or broker meetings
- Requires reliable high-speed internet (cable or fiber; 100 Mbps down / 25 Mbps up)
What You’ll Do
- Manage an assigned book of self-funded group health clients as their primary Account Manager
- Act as liaison between clients/brokers and Allied executives and departments supporting the benefit plan
- Communicate ACA compliance, industry changes, legislative updates, and benefit impacts in both English and Spanish
- Lead and manage new client implementations, including kickoff and implementation meetings and follow-up on open items
- Conduct quarterly meetings to review plan performance reporting and strengthen client relationships
- Prepare and deliver employee presentations, administrative procedures training, website training, and reporting reviews (English and Spanish)
- Communicate internal changes related to plan design, contracts, billing, and vendor partners
- Produce and analyze ad hoc reporting for clients, brokers, and Account Executives
- Support renewals by coordinating claims reviews, stop loss marketing, and service level expectations
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and cross-sell Allied services to existing clients
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2–4 years of account management experience
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and present fluently in both English and Spanish
- Working knowledge of employee medical benefit plans (group health, self-funded experience preferred)
- Life & Health Insurance Producer’s license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service mindset
- Confident public speaking skills; comfortable presenting benefits and compliance in English and Spanish
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management with a track record of meeting deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment
