Schedule
- Position type: Full-time, remote
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET
- Work environment: Work from home with consistent weekday hours
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls and provide professional, accurate support.
- Process customer orders via phone and other channels, including entering orders, emailing confirmations, and updating order status.
- Review orders for accuracy, make changes as needed, and ensure orders move to fulfillment without delay.
- Provide pricing information and route special orders using established processes.
- Research and resolve billing and pricing inquiries in a timely manner.
- Handle customer concerns, resolve issues that impact same-day shipping, and determine/authorize credits, rebills, and product returns.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal departments on behalf of customers.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and perform administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of customer service experience, ideally in a call center or metric-driven environment.
- Strong computer skills, including basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience working with call monitoring, scoring, and performance metrics.
- Professional, calm phone presence with the ability to de-escalate upset or frustrated customers.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately assess situations and resolve customer problems independently.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and task prioritization.
- Self-motivated with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET.
- Experience in distribution, emergency medical, or hospital-related environments is a plus.
