Schedule

  • Position Type: Part-time, remote
  • Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. EST
  • Location: Work from home within the United States
  • Environment: Independent weekend coverage with virtual team support
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available)

What You’ll Do

  • Handle inbound calls, chats, emails, and faxes from healthcare providers with questions related to Provider Support and non-clinical Utilization Management (UM).
  • Answer questions involving claims, payments, authorizations, eligibility, benefits, and general provider services.
  • Assist with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) inquiries and network participation questions.
  • Provide enrollment and credentialing status updates and direct providers to the right resources when needed.
  • Troubleshoot basic provider portal issues and guide users through common tasks.
  • Accurately document all interactions in the appropriate systems to ensure compliance, clarity, and follow-through.
  • Research issues when necessary and provide timely, professional follow-up to ensure a smooth provider experience.

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare contact center or customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of Medicare claims, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a calm, supportive approach on every interaction.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and screens with speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision during weekend hours.
