Schedule
• Full-time, remote across the U.S.
• Monday–Friday
• Standard business hours (schedule may vary slightly by team)
• Requires reliable workspace for uninterrupted remote work

Responsibilities
• Review professional (profee) claim denials for accuracy, documentation requirements, and payer policy alignment
• Analyze EMR documentation and determine correct CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes
• Submit corrected claims, appeals, or additional documentation to resolve denials
• Research payer-specific rules, guidelines, and coding updates
• Identify patterns in denials and recommend process improvements
• Communicate professionally with clients, internal teams, and payers
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards required by CorroHealth
• Document findings clearly and concisely in internal systems
• Participate in training, audits, and quality initiatives as directed
• Protect PHI and comply with all privacy and security standards

Requirements
• Active coding certification: CPC, COC, CCS, or CCS-P
• Experience with professional (profee) coding and denials required
• Strong understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM
• Proficiency with EMRs and billing systems
• Ability to review documentation and apply codes accurately
• Skill in reading payer denial codes, EOBs, and appeal requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet productivity and 95 percent+ accuracy standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
