Pay: $80,000–$100,000 per year (based on skills, experience, and location)
Some after-hours support required
What You’ll Do
Develop and manage onboarding project plans, timelines, and milestones
Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to gather requirements and maintain alignment
Create onboarding documentation including user guides, training materials, and FAQs
Lead training for onboarding and change management functions
Serve as the escalation point for onboarding issues and provide hands-on support
Process and manage merchant change requests
Ensure all onboarding queues meet SLA requirements for coverage, response time, and accuracy
Analyze change management data to identify problems, trends, and root causes
Troubleshoot merchant processing configurations
Monitor team activity for accuracy, efficiency, and operational consistency
Design and enforce strong controls to prevent change request errors
Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Track issue logs to detect and resolve inefficiencies
Drive process improvements to enhance merchant satisfaction and onboarding effectiveness
Ensure timely, accurate onboarding for clients and partners
Develop and update payment-related reports for leadership
Meet weekly with team members to coach, support, and resolve blockers
Conduct 2–4 audits per week on change requests
Coordinate with the Director of Payment Operations to remove operational barriers
Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Need
3–5 years of experience in payment processing or related field
3–5 years of management experience
Detail-oriented, accurate, and self-driven
Strong investigative and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Salesforce
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-changing environment
Client-focused with strong relationship-building skills
Ability to think strategically while managing operational details
High intellectual curiosity and drive to challenge existing processes
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field
Experience in financial technology, payment facilitation, merchant onboarding, or insurance preferred
Proven experience leading teams in payment processing or merchant services
