Schedule
- Full-time, fully remote
- Standard hours: 8:30 AM–5 PM CT, Monday through Friday
- Works closely with credentialing, practice operations, payors, and leadership teams
What You’ll Do
- Complete provider enrollment, credentialing, and recredentialing for government and commercial payors
- Resolve enrollment issues by collaborating with providers, office managers, contracting teams, and insurers
- Educate providers and practice managers on credentialing requirements and timelines
- Gather updated provider information from offices, licensing boards, malpractice carriers, and other sources
- Identify and resolve primary source verification issues through research and analysis
- Maintain credentialing data, matrices, and departmental software systems
- Support onboarding for new providers related to enrollment requirements
- Communicate payor updates, provider numbers, and enrollment statuses to practice operations
- Build and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track provider enrollment
- Recommend workflow improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in a physician practice or payer environment relating to billing, claims, credentialing, or enrollment
- Experience with provider enrollment auditing and quality assurance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF tools, and related management software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to learn quickly
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Familiarity with healthcare contracts preferred
