Schedule
- Fully remote role with some travel as needed
- Standard business hours
- Requires ability to walk hospital campuses and visit patients at bedside when onsite
What You’ll Do
- Interview patients and families to determine eligibility for federal, state, and county assistance programs
- Identify all potential payor sources, including auto insurance, Workers’ Compensation, commercial insurance, and private insurance
- Complete Confidential Financial Statements and guide patients through benefit applications
- Document all actions throughout the patient accounting cycle
- Perform financial clearance and collections when needed
- Follow up on government program applications and maintain strong communication with patients
- Conduct occasional field visits for skip tracing or document support
- Notify hospital case management, social services, and admissions teams of eligibility outcomes
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in Social Services, Hospital Admitting, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and county assistance programs
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

- Pay: $17.20–$25.70 per hour (based on experience, location, and qualifications)
