What You’ll Do
- Handle both scheduling and registration in a single call, ensuring patients receive accurate appointment details and preparation instructions
- Verify demographics, insurance, benefits, pre-authorization requirements, and financial responsibility
- Perform financial clearance tasks, including securing payment and conducting collection efforts
- Complete pre-registration and pre-certification for upcoming inpatient or surgical admissions
- Manage physician orders, including verification, indexing, and correct assignment
- Support department needs with additional tasks as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong ability to multitask across multiple systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service or call center experience preferred
- Prior scheduling, pre-registration, or medical office experience helpful
- Comfortable working in a structured, high-volume environment
