UnitedHealthcare is building the next generation of integrated healthcare experiences. The Provider Engagement team partners closely with Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and Assisted Living Facilities to improve growth, access, and performance across all lines of business. This role supports Senior Community Care (SCC) and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive provider education, quality outcomes, and operational excellence.

- Travel up to 25% across the state

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow business relationships with Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities
- Develop and deliver education programs (in-person and telephonic) on UnitedHealthcare products and processes
- Lead provider-facing meetings, including Business Reviews, Joint Operating Committees, and Engagement Meetings
- Support network strategy: identify provider gaps and assist contracting teams
- Address provider issues end-to-end, including performance, reimbursement, and operational needs
- Maintain Compass database with updated facility meeting data and notes
- Support Senior Community Care (SCC) initiatives including ISNP growth
- Provide policy updates, training, quality guidance, and medication adherence education
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Care Transitions, Optum Health, and other internal teams
- Prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision
Requirements
- 2+ years in provider relations or provider network management
- 1+ year working with Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel 25% within Massachusetts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Facility
- Familiarity with claims processing and issue resolution
- Strong organizational and deadline management skills
