What You’ll Do
• Respond to borrower inquiries via chat, email, SMS, and phone
• Provide clear guidance on payments, relief options, and account updates
• Cross-sell Earnest products during service interactions when appropriate
• Set up payment arrangements and encourage on-time payments
• Document all interactions accurately in client systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Research and follow up on borrower concerns
What You Need
• 1+ year experience in customer service, collections, or sales
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Tech-savvy (Mac preferred) and comfortable with basic math
• Ability to manage high call volume with focus and calm
• Team player who can also work independently
• Bonus: student lending, banking, or call-center experience
