What You’ll Do
- Handle patient calls and resolve billing questions with a focus on first-call resolution
- Review and explain statements, insurance details, payment plans, and account balances
- Work within EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
- Research account information quickly using internal resources and tools
- Support onboarding and mentorship for new hires after training
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ year in a healthcare call center environment
- Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology (HIPAA, EOBs, ICD-10, CPT, etc.)
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
