Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Two evening shifts per week: 12 p.m.–9 p.m. CST and 10 a.m.–7 p.m. CST
- One Saturday shift every 5 weeks
- Must reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI
What You’ll Do
- Perform outbound calls to resolve past-due customer accounts
- Assess delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts and determine best resolution strategies
- Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions
- Provide hardship relief options in accordance with company policies
- Answer overflow calls related to disputes, recovery, first pay, and bankruptcy
- Accurately explain interest, statements, and account details to customers
- Use available resources to achieve one-call resolutions
- Complete administrative support tasks as needed
What You Need
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, communications, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of collections or account servicing experience preferred
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills with a professional phone presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer systems
- Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy
- High attention to detail and strong typing skills
