Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST (flexibility required)
- May require occasional overtime
- 6 weeks of paid, virtual training (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Mon–Fri)
What You’ll Do
- Research and resolve written complaints from consumers and providers
- Ensure complaints are categorized correctly and gather needed documentation
- Review cases to determine if clinical review is required
- Render decisions for non-clinical complaints using fact-based judgment
- Document appeal or grievance outcomes using templates
- Communicate results to members, providers, and internal/external parties within required timeframes
- Draft clear correspondence explaining claim outcomes and next steps
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Must be 18 years or older
- At least 1 year of experience analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1+ years in office, administrative, clerical, or customer service environment
- Proficiency with Windows-based PC applications and ability to learn complex systems
- Availability to work full-time during assigned hours with occasional overtime
Preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare, medical, or pharmacy terminology
