Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST (flexibility required)
  • May require occasional overtime
  • 6 weeks of paid, virtual training (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Mon–Fri)

What You’ll Do

  • Research and resolve written complaints from consumers and providers
  • Ensure complaints are categorized correctly and gather needed documentation
  • Review cases to determine if clinical review is required
  • Render decisions for non-clinical complaints using fact-based judgment
  • Document appeal or grievance outcomes using templates
  • Communicate results to members, providers, and internal/external parties within required timeframes
  • Draft clear correspondence explaining claim outcomes and next steps

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • At least 1 year of experience analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1+ years in office, administrative, clerical, or customer service environment
  • Proficiency with Windows-based PC applications and ability to learn complex systems
  • Availability to work full-time during assigned hours with occasional overtime

Preferred

  • Familiarity with healthcare, medical, or pharmacy terminology
