Key Responsibilities
- Respond to employee benefit inquiries via phone and email with professionalism
- Guide employees through new hire, open enrollment, and special enrollment periods, helping compare and contrast benefit options
- Manage eligibility, enrollment, and qualifying life events in the Benefits Enrollment System
- Review and process pending benefit events and assure accurate HRIS benefit records
- Provide backup support to Benefits Coordinators and Specialists on tasks such as invoicing and auditing
- Support annual open enrollment activities and assist on special benefits projects
- Ensure accurate documentation, timely responses, and compliance with benefits policies
- Collaborate within the Benefits team, contributing to problem-solving, decision-making, and shared team goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience preferred
- 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in benefits
- Customer or employee support experience strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills; Workday system experience a plus
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while supporting a collaborative team
