Schedule & Location

  • 100% Remote (U.S. based; must provide HIPAA-compliant workspace)
  • Full-time split shift schedules (e.g., 6am–9am & 4:30pm–9:30pm ET)
  • Hiring for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Some weekends and holidays required
  • Company-provided equipment
  • Paid remote training (two weeks, Zoom-based, attendance required)

Compensation & Perks

  • Base pay: $17.00/hr
  • Differential pay:
    • +$1/hr for shifts worked Mon–Thurs, 3pm–11pm ET
    • +$3/hr weekend differential (Fri 3pm ET – Mon 7am ET)
    • +$1/hr for Spanish-speaking staff (testing required)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first contact for patients calling with healthcare needs
  • Build trust through compassion, empathy, and customized scripting
  • Document patient needs accurately before connecting them to a nurse
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Defuse difficult conversations and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Maintain professional, courteous communication at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year of customer service experience required
  • 1–2 years of healthcare experience desired
  • Inbound call center experience preferred
  • Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
  • Strong organizational, computer, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent listening and comprehension abilities
  • Professional phone etiquette and reliable work habits
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills strongly valued (must converse in Spanish and document in English)
  • Ability to provide HIPAA-compliant remote workspace

Remote Work Requirements

  • Reliable cable internet (satellite/hotspots not accepted)
  • Minimum speeds: 23 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
  • Must hardwire connection (no WiFi)
  • Dedicated workspace with a lockable door, compliant with HIPAA standards
  • Room to accommodate dual monitors and company-provided phone system
