Be part of a high-volume call center team at American Specialty Health (ASH), where you’ll provide support to members across the nation in our Fitness Programs. Schedule
- Seasonal, full-time remote position
- Monday–Friday, with rotating weekend availability required
- Day shifts
- Starting pay: $15/hour, with the potential to reach $16/hour within the first year (merit-based increases and performance bonuses available)
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from members, fitness clubs, and health plans with professionalism and empathy
- Provide accurate information about ASH Fitness programs and services
- Document call details and update member information in the system
- Collect co-pays or payments when necessary
- Forward complex issues to Research Team or Supervisors for resolution
- Manage follow-up actions within required timeframes
- Attend team meetings to support collaboration and quality service delivery
- Comply with HIPAA and ASH policies at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of customer service experience (call center preferred)
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage a high call volume (80+ calls per shift)
- Private, noise-free, HIPAA-compliant home workspace with reliable internet (minimum 50 Mbps up/down)
