About Public Partnerships (PPL)
Public Partnerships LLC (PPL) is the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider. We help individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and aging adults self-direct their long-term care while staying in their homes and communities. Beginning in 2025, PPL will serve as the Statewide Fiscal Intermediary for New York’s Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP). Our mission is to deliver culturally sensitive and disability-competent care while empowering participants with independence and choice.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote (must be based in New York, US)
- Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
- Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs
Responsibilities
- Resolve payroll variances by collecting and analyzing large data sets
- Triage unassigned CRM cases and monitor team email inboxes
- Research, process, and respond to payroll-related inquiries
- Perform and document quality audits to ensure payroll accuracy
- Prepare monthly and daily payroll reports
- Manage unclaimed property and uncashed checks, including reconciliations and due diligence reporting
- Support Payroll Supervisor in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist with staff training, special projects, and department efficiency initiatives
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and act as a subject matter expert (SME) as needed
- Complete all Senior Payroll Coordinator duties and other assigned tasks
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4+ years of payroll, accounting, banking, operations, or clerical experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Concatenate functions)
- Ability to navigate multiple applications and systems
- Excellent attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, flexible, and able to work independently under minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable adapting to changes in processes and systems
Compensation
- $25.25 – $33.66 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
