Responsibilities
- Serve as a dedicated billing partner for top enterprise accounts, providing personalized, white-glove service
- Manage complex invoicing processes from order intake through cash application, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Act as a collections analyst by reconciling accounts and driving timely payments
- Collaborate with sales, legal, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries
- Develop deep customer relationships by identifying needs, asking the right questions, and providing solutions
- Interact with senior executives internally and externally with strong communication and executive presence
- Lead process optimization by identifying bottlenecks and proposing refinements to streamline workflows
- Oversee all aspects of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle including invoicing, collections, and cash application
- Analyze AR reports and assist with month-end close activities
- Champion Samsara’s cultural principles: customer success, long-term focus, growth mindset, inclusivity, and teamwork
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in Order-to-Cash or AR/accounts management roles
- Proven ability to manage complex, manual financial processes
- Experience supporting enterprise customers with high-touch service
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and detail orientation
- Executive presence with polished communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
- CPA preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,805 – $109,480 annually (based on location, skills, and experience)
