About The Art of Education University (AOEU)
The Art of Education University is a fully remote institution dedicated to helping K–12 art teachers thrive at every stage of their careers. With a YouTube channel reaching over 8,000 subscribers, AOEU provides practical, inspiring content to educators nationwide.
Schedule
- Part-time, project-based contractor role
- 100% remote within the United States
- Flexible filming and editing schedule with strict deadlines
Responsibilities
- Develop and submit written proposals, scripts, and polished video content for a set number of episodes
- Create one Instagram Story per episode to promote new content
- Collaborate with the Media Content Manager for feedback, approvals, and alignment
- Ensure content reflects trends, best practices, and AOEU’s mission to support art teachers
Requirements
- K–12 art classroom teaching experience (required)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Confident, natural, and engaging on-camera presence
- Comfortable with filming and editing technology
- Knowledge of art education trends and best practices
- Organized, deadline-driven, and open to feedback
Compensation
- Stipend per episode, payable upon submission and acceptance of final video and Instagram Story
