Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST
- Fully remote role
Pay
- $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and empathetic support to patients while resolving outstanding balances.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment, arranging payments or payment plans.
- Document all account activity and maintain accurate records.
- Use assigned client software systems to manage patient accounts effectively.
- Ensure compliance with FDCPA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws and company policies.
- Model appropriate behavior when handling difficult interactions or accounts.
- Service each interaction with the quality and integrity standards of RSi and client providers.
- Meet productivity standards while adhering to client and departmental practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- 1+ years of call center experience.
- 1+ years of accounts receivable, healthcare billing, or collections experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
